No more duplicate affiliate enrollments
An affiliate could occasionally show up enrolled in the same program more than once. We now recognize a repeat affiliate and keep them as a single enrollment.
Why we fixed it: a founder spotted an affiliate listed several times for one app, which made their list confusing and risked double-counting.
In some cases an affiliate could end up enrolled in the same program more than once, each time with a different referral code. It happened when someone applied again with a slightly different name, and it could also happen when an affiliate came in through a data import that listed them more than once.
We now match a returning affiliate to the account they already have, using their email as the anchor, so a repeat application or import updates their existing enrollment instead of creating a new one. We also went through and merged the duplicates that had already been created, keeping the active enrollment and all of its referrals and commissions.
