Migration overview
The migration is a collaborative process — you export your data from Mantle, and we do the import together on a free 30–60 minute call. Here's the high-level flow:
Step 1 — Export your data from Mantle
You need to export four files from your Mantle dashboard. Mantle emails you a download link for each export — save all files to a folder before your call.
1. Affiliates · Required
affiliates.csv2. Affiliate referrals · Required
affiliate_memberships.csv3. Customers · Required
customers.csv4. Payouts · Optional (recommended)

Step 2 — Note your commission rules
Mantle's CSV exports capture affiliate data well, but commission structure nuances aren't always in the CSV. Before your call, write down:
- Your default commission rate or amount (e.g. 20% revenue share, or $5 per install)
- Commission type — revenue share %, fixed amount, first month only, recurring for X months, or lifetime
- Any special terms for specific affiliates or affiliate groups (e.g. "Agency partners get 30%")
- Payout threshold — minimum balance before an affiliate can request a payout
- In-progress multi-month commissions — if you have affiliates on a "first 3 months" or "first 6 months" deal, note which month they're on for each
Step 3 — Complete outstanding payouts in Mantle
Before migrating, run a final payout cycle in Mantle for affiliates with pending earned commissions. This keeps your records clean and avoids confusion after migration.
Step 4 — Book your migration call
Once you have your CSV files ready, book a free 30–60 minute call with our team. We handle the actual data import — you don't need to upload anything or run any scripts yourself.
What to bring to the call
- ✓ Your 3–4 CSV files from Mantle
- ✓ Your commission structure notes
- ✓ The name of your Shopify app(s)
- ✓ Access to your email (for the login link)
Timeline: typically 1–3 business days from booking to live, depending on program size. We can usually accommodate same-day or next-day calls.
What happens during the call
On the call, our team will:
Review your CSV files
We check for any data quality issues before importing — missing emails, duplicate codes, etc.
Import affiliates, referrals, and customers
All your affiliates are created in PartnerDock with their original referral codes, commission history, and referred store records.
Import payout history
Past paid, pending, and processing payouts carry over so your records are complete from day one.
Set up commission rules
We recreate your commission structure based on the CSV and your notes — default rate, special terms, payout threshold.
Configure your affiliate signup page
Your branded page goes live at getpartnerdock.com/p/[your-app-slug].
Confirm existing links work
We verify that your affiliates' existing Mantle-format links are attributed correctly.
Hand you your login
You receive a login link and we walk you through the dashboard together.
What happens after migration
What carries over
Your numbers stay consistent because PartnerDock reads from the same underlying data sources as Mantle — the Shopify Partners API and Google Analytics 4 with BigQuery.
What about existing affiliate links
Nothing changes for your affiliates. Mantle links use this format:
PartnerDock preserves every affiliate's original referral code from Mantle during import. When existing links are clicked, GA4 reads the mref parameter and PartnerDock attributes the referral automatically. Your affiliates can keep promoting with their existing links from day one.
After migration, each affiliate also gets a PartnerDock tracked redirect link (getpartnerdock.com/r/their-code) which provides additional tracking via a first-party click cookie. Both link formats work — affiliates can use whichever they prefer.
