Welcome to PartnerDock, operated by The SaaS Hub. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use our platform at getpartnerdock.com.
Definitions
"Personal Data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. "Processing" includes any operation performed on personal data. "Controller" refers to The SaaS Hub, which determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
Account data: name, email address, organization name, billing email — collected when you sign up.
App and program data: Shopify App Store URLs, commission rules, and affiliate program settings — entered by Founders.
Affiliate data: name, email, PayPal email, referral codes, and application notes — provided by Affiliates when applying to a program. Founders are the data controller for their affiliates' personal data; The SaaS Hub acts as a data processor.
Tracking data: referral link clicks (IP address hashed via SHA-256 — raw IP is never stored), user agent hashed, UTM parameters, referral codes, and install reports submitted by Founders' apps.
Integration credentials: Shopify Partner API tokens and Google BigQuery service-account credentials are stored encrypted using AES-256. They are never logged or returned in plaintext after saving.
Payment records: payout amounts, PayPal email addresses, payout status, and receipt PDFs — stored for record-keeping. We do not store credit card numbers or process payments directly.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps — used for product improvement. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded inside the authenticated application.
We use this data to: provide and operate the platform, send transactional emails (account activation, payout receipts, application notifications), generate payout receipts on behalf of Founders, and improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use one first-party cookie: pd_click — used to track affiliate referral clicks for attribution. It contains only a random token (no personal data), expires after 30 days, and is set only when someone clicks a PartnerDock affiliate referral link.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Session cookies are used to authenticate your login and maintain your session while using the platform.
You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may affect your ability to use parts of the platform.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases: Consent (where you have given explicit consent), Contract (processing necessary to provide the service you have signed up for), Legal Obligations (compliance with applicable law), and Legitimate Interests (improving and securing the platform).
Your Rights
You have the right to: access copies of your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure of your personal data under certain conditions, restrict or object to processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email support@getpartnerdock.com.
Affiliates can request deletion of their personal data from a Founder's program by contacting the Founder directly or emailing us — we will coordinate with the Founder to process the request.
Data Retention
Active account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted accounts: data retained for 30 days then permanently deleted. Payout receipts: retained for 7 years for accounting compliance. Click tracking data: retained for 90 days then purged.
Data Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest for sensitive credentials. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is fully impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception.
Disclosure of Your Information
We share data only with: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email delivery), Stripe (subscription billing for Founders), Shopify (when you connect the Partner API integration using your own Shopify account), and Google (when you connect GA4/BigQuery using your own Google account). All processors are bound by data processing agreements.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. We may disclose information when legally required or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We will notify you of any material changes by email and by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
