A more reliable way for affiliates to sign in
Affiliates now sign in with a short code we email them, instead of a link that some inboxes broke.
Why we built it: an affiliate reached out unable to sign in — their email provider's security scanner was expiring one-time links before they could click.
Some email providers scan every link in a message before it reaches the inbox. For a one-time sign-in link, that scan could quietly use up the link, so it no longer worked by the time the affiliate clicked it.
Affiliates now receive a short sign-in code to type in instead of a link to click. The code isn't affected by inbox security scanners, so signing in works reliably across every email provider.
There's nothing for you or your affiliates to set up — it's simply how affiliate sign-in works now.
