Brand your affiliate signup page, and require a website to apply

Make your public affiliate page look like your brand with a custom headline, tagline, hero image, colors and optional custom CSS, and require applicants to share a website or channel URL.

Why we built it: an agency running several Shopify apps wanted the signup page to match their brand, and a way to screen out low-quality applicants who leave the website field blank.

Your public affiliate signup page now has real branding controls. Alongside your logo and brand color, you can set a custom headline and tagline, add a hero image, choose your page background and button text colors, and, for anyone who wants finer control, add your own custom CSS. A live preview in Program settings shows your changes as you make them, so the page partners see can look like your product rather than a generic form.

You can also now require a website or channel URL on applications. When it is on, an applicant cannot submit without telling you where they will promote you, which helps screen out low-effort sign-ups. The toggle is available on each app's signup page and, for founders using the organization-wide join link, at the organization level too.

Both are in Program settings. The branding controls are under the signup page editor, and the require-website toggles sit with their respective signup and enrollment options.
